"On Sept.1st we boarded the NCL "SKY" ship and a letter was waiting for us asking us to check in with the asst. Maitre-d "Kimberly", We did so and was handed some beautiful menus and asked to select our dinner. Well we did with a great deal of apprehension as we had cruised before and NEVER was the food even eatable.. First night we had Brisket, etc.etc.etc. Let me tell you how excited we were that the food was out of this world.. really delicious .. fresh tasting and wonderful. The side dishes were excellent, the peas were soft and hot and delicious, the corn and rice was excellent.. The best was a tie between your stuffed cabbage and your Barley Mushroom soup. My gosh the soup was thick and full of mushrooms that you can taste and a huge portion and hot. the Stuffed Cabbage was amazing, thick sweet sauce, full of delicious chopped meat on the inside, fresh and beautiful presentation.. Then the Turkey burgers, I could not finish it, so large and moist and full of flavor.. I called you as soon as I got off the ship to see if I could order direct.. The lady referred me to your web site.. I wrote a special letter to NCL telling them how wonderful the food was and if they continue with Sterling Caterer, we would continue our loyalty with NCL.. "

The moment we met with Jonathan at Sterling Kosher Caterers for our daughter's wedding, we knew we had found the right match. Jonathan and Sterling had been recommended to us by other friends who were very happy with his services. We were interested in using him but at a different venue. Once we learned that he was available and experienced at our chosen venue, everything fell in to place.
The wedding was a traditional event. The staff and service throughout the tisch, bedecken cocktails and dinner were top rate. The food was fantastic. Our guests could not stop complimenting us on the quality of the cocktails and dinner selections. The few issues raised by some of our guests were attended to immediately. We were all able to enjoy ourselves because they had everything under control.
As for coordination of the event, Jonathan was the perfect solution for everything. He was in total control, without feeling as if he had taken control from us. Jonathan seemed to remove most of the stress because he simply understood everything and knew how to coordinate all the moving parts. Even our daughter and son-in-law were made more relaxed by Jonathan's nature. He worked well with the other vendors to insure a fluid evening.
We were all on top of the world that evening. The food, staff and presentation could not have been better. And having someone there to watch over and be sure that our daughter's wishes and dreams were met, was the proverbial icing on the cake.
